Strawberry Sazerac

Add Provisional Gin, strawberry syrup and bitters to a mixing glass with a large ice cube. Stir well and strain into an absinthe mist-sprayed coupe. Garnish with an expressed lemon peel skewered with a dried strawberry.


  • 1.5 oz Provisional Gin
  • 0.75 oz strawberry syrup*
  • 4-5 dashes Peychaud’s bitters
  • 3 spritzes of absinthe mist

*Strawberry Syrup

  • 1 c chopped strawberries
  • 1 c sugar
  • 1 c water

Bring strawberries, sugar and water to a boil. Reduce heat and let simmer for 15 minutes or until strawberries break down. Cool and strain into a sealed container. Store in the refrigerator for up to one week.
